Willowglen Systems is an innovative  Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) company, celebrating its 40th anniversary and recognized for our excellence in Customer Service. Our main products are SCADA host and RTU systems – which we develop and support through our team of  software developers, hardware engineers, and project management personnel. Willowglen has a global customer base and is chiefly involved  in oil and gas, pipelines, water distribution, electricity distribution, and transportation systems – in locations including Canada, U.S., Germany, Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, and China.

Willowglen is accepting applications for the following positions:

 

Software Engineer / Developer

Willowglen is looking to add several software developers and/or engineers to our SCADA Software Department. We are interested in both entry-level and experienced candidates. The posting is for permanent full-time positions.

Willowglen is looking for people with an understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, design patterns and web-related technologies. Familiarity with JavaScript as well as Sencha's ExtJS and Draw frameworks is an asset. The Unisen and SCADACOM 5 products use this browser-based environment to provide a sophisticated, traditional-looking HMI within the confines of a web browser.

The Software Developer or Software Engineer position offers a wide range of challenges because of the diverse set of software and hardware that Willowglen develops. The scope of software design varies from low-level embedded software on Willowglen developed hardware devices to graphical user interfaces on large scale servers.

Experience with the following is an asset:

There is an opportunity to do some local and international traveling as part of the position.

Project Manager

Willowglen is looking for additional Project Management personnel. We are interested in candidates with a range of experience – from junior to senior levels. The postings are for permanent, full-time positions.

The project management positions offer a wide range of challenges due to the diverse set of industrial automation technology products that Willowglen develops, and the complexity of projects that we take on. Educational background should include an engineering, science, or technology degree or diploma – and the candidates should have good communications skills. Future career opportunities exist in Product Management capacities as well.
