Willowglen Systems is an innovative Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) technology development and services company, celebrating its 40th anniversary. Our main products are SCADA host (SCADACOM), Flow Computer and RTU systems (Unisen) – which we develop and support through our team of software developers, hardware engineers, and project management personnel. Willowglen has a global customer base and is chiefly involved in the oil and gas, pipelines, water distribution, electricity distribution, and metro-rail sectors – in locations including Canada, U.S., Brazil, Singapore, and China.

Willowglen is accepting applications for the following positions which is based in our Edmonton, Alberta, Canada head office:

Project Management

Willowglen is looking for additional Project Management personnel. We are interested in candidates with a range of experience – from junior to senior levels. The postings are for permanent, full-time positions – and the successful individuals will be working out of our Edmonton, Alberta head offices.

The project management positions offer a wide range of challenges due to the diverse set of industrial automation technology products that Willowglen develops, and the complexity of projects that we take on. Educational background should include an engineering, science, or technology degree or diploma – and the candidates should have good communications skills. Future career opportunities exist in Product Management capacities as well.

Experience with any of the following areas is an asset for the Project Management role:

A candidate will have the ability to work in an Industrial Manufacturing Environment.

There is an opportunity for local and international travel as part of the position.

Software Developer / Engineer / Technologist

Willowglen is interested in both entry-level and experienced candidates to add to our SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) Product Development Teams.

This posting is for permanent full-time positions, and are based in our Edmonton, Alberta head offices.

Willowglen is looking for software personnel with an understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, design patterns and/or web-related technologies. The Unisen and SCADACOM 5 products use a browser-based environment to provide a sophisticated industrial Human Machine Interface within the confines of a web browser.

Willowglen has opportunities in our Product Development Department for Software Developers, Engineers, and Technologists - and offers an opportunity to work in several interesting areas. The scope of software design varies from low-level embedded software on Willowglen developed hardware devices to graphical user interfaces on large scale servers.

Experience with the following is an asset:

A candidate will have the ability to work in an Industrial Manufacturing Environment.

There is an opportunity to do some local and international traveling as part of the positions.

Intermediate Software Developer / Engineer / Technologist

Willowglen is interested in adding intermediate software developers/engineers/technologists (approximately 3 – 5 years experience) to our SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) Product Development Teams.

This posting is for permanent full-time positions, and are based in our Edmonton, Alberta head offices.

Account Manager

Willowglen Systems Inc. is looking to add an experienced (3-10 years) Account Manager to our Business Development Department. The successful candidate will work closely with our Project Managers and Customers. This posting is for a permanent full time position. Educational background should include a technology or business degree or diploma and the candidate should have excellent communication and customer management skills.

Experience with any of the following areas would be an asset for the Account Management role:

This role is based in Edmonton, but will have some travel requirements due to customer visits, conference/trade show attendance, and other related needs.

System and Software Sales

You must have prior success selling engineered solutions to senior technical managers of medium to large size companies in a competitive marketplace. You excel at finding and closing new business and have strong consultative selling skills. You are goal oriented, a self-starter and work well with limited supervision. Experience with capital equipment, software, oil and gas, municipal and industrial water management, control automation, flow monitoring, system integrators and or VAR's helpful but not required.
